Creative Nano was honored to attend the 28-month FreeMe project consortium conference, which took place in Arçelik's cutting-edge facilities in Istanbul, Turkey. Key project partners gathered for this cooperative gathering to assess progress and talk about next measures in order to meet the project's lofty objectives.
The FreeMe project has achieved great strides in its goal to remove the use of dangerous materials like palladium and hexavalent chromium from the Plating on Plastics (PoP) process during the previous 28 months. Since these materials are often used in industrial settings but provide significant health and environmental hazards, sustainable manufacturing places a high premium on replacing them.
The findings of Creative Nano's most recent trials, which have showed a lot of promise, were presented during the symposium. These findings represent a significant turning point in our collective quest for a safer and more environmentally friendly plastics metallisation method, which is in line with international environmental regulations and the rising demand for environmentally friendly products.
The FreeMe initiative keeps proving the value of teamwork and creativity in solving business problems. We are enthusiastic about the project's potential to transform the plating on plastics business and eagerly await the next stage of development.
