Creative Nano successfully completed pilot-scale electroplating of forged piston rods using its newly developed in-house Ni/SiC nanocomposite electrolyte. This achievement marked a significant advancement in the project’s goal of developing high-performance, nanostructured coatings for industrial applications.
A key enabler of this success was the integration of the real-time OF2i system, which allowed continuous monitoring of nanoparticle dispersion throughout the plating process. This real-time insight enabled immediate process adjustments, ensuring optimal coating quality and consistency.
This milestone represents a major step forward in bringing advanced surface treatment technologies closer to industrial deployment, reinforcing the impact and innovation at the core of the MOZART EU Project.
